i wanted to paint you a pretty picture,
with lots of pretty colours,
so i picked up my pen,
and i started to draw for you,
i wanted you to see my pretty picture,
i signed it with my signature,
it only ran two colours,
i wanted to paint you something from my soul,
i did my best and gave it my whole,
i added a dash there, and a dot here,
and as it was becoming clear,
that my pretty picture was almost finished,
i wanted to end it with something special,
my pretty picture was running black and red,
the picture i painted with words you said,
i showed you my pretty picture,
you must have liked it because you was shocked,
it was only half as good as i wanted,
but it seems i ran out of space,
with words that always haunted,
leaving nothing but a trace,
i painted you a pretty picture,
and gave it to you, my heart, my soul and myself,
with black eyeliner running down my face,
and red cuts running down my arms,
i showed it to you...
