A/C: This is stupid, by the way. I haven't been able to write lately, and this story doesn't make sense, and I didn't bother proof reading it. READ AT YOUR OWN RISK.

_________

Silence was screaming in my ears as I sat down on the filthy sidewalk, staring into the darkness like I knew where it went. I was alone, and I knew it. Nothing was around me except for my own fear. How did I get here? It doesn't matter. Where did I come from? Nowhere. I am a figment of everyday life's imagination. I blend in. Dark brown hair tickles my shoulders and cheeks, making them think of possible explanations; spiders, strangers, tears, nothing. My boring green eyes match the fog as it dances around with all of it's mighty toxins. Do I sound unique to you? The only thing original about me is my name, I am Giselle Lee. I am, in all honesty, a nobody.

I'm fine with it, though. I wouldn't change it for anything. I'm perfectly happy the way I am. It's not like I'm completely alone, I do have this one friend. Coralie is always with me, even if I don't know it. It sounds strange, doesn't it? Almost exaggerated, but it isn't. She's always watching me.

"Cora?" My voice echoed in the empty streets, making me feel small and weak. I could hear her breathing begin, and she pranced into my vision. Her white blond hair flowing gently in the wind, smoldering blue eyes staring into my own, her tiny frame walked towards me and took my hands. Compared to myself, she was perfect, everything about her looked like it was made of porcelain and the world's most finest material. She was like a living china doll, everything I wished to be.

She grunted at me, she knew I was sizing her up, and comparing myself to her again. "It's time," she whispered. She's kept this night a secret, being careful not to let anything slip. We only see eachother at night, her preference. She says it's easier, safer. I swore not to speak of her to anyone, and to do what she says. "I'm waiting." I came back to my senses, focussing back in on her pouting face as her lips quivered, as if they were trying to force theirselves into a smile. "What are you stalling for?"

I decided against talking, and made my way through the darkness with Coralie trailing behind me. She told me which directions to walk in. I have no idea how she could see the streets when I couldn't even see my own hands. When I would slow down she'd place her fragile hand on my back and push me. "Hold your breath," she'd say when we approached a cloud of green. "Breathe that stuff in and you die," she kept reminding me.

Up ahead there were muffled laughs and voices of people on the street, Coralie didn't seem to notice and kept pushing me closer. I was surprised when we walked by and none of them stared at her, it's hard not to stare at her. "Hey, Honey! You look lonely. why don't you come over here with us men and have a good time."

Coralie's eyes narrowed as she stared at them, they weren't talking to her. I looked at Coralie to see what she was thinking when she whispered "kill them" to me. I shook my head in disbelief, she was serious. She pushed me towards them, as I struggled to make her stop. She was stronger then she looked. One of the younger men grabbed my arm and pulled me closer to their foul smelling group of night walkers.

"Looky here, boys. We got us a little gift!" His fingers trailed down my skin as I looked at Coralie for help, she was smiling. "Who wants a piece of this meat? It'd be rude to keep it all to myself," he continued to place his mangy fingers on my skin, as he made his way under my shirt. Coralie walked up to me, and it was like they didn't even see her.

"Kill them." She handed me a knife, and I finished her command without a second thought. She placed her palm back on my back and directed me, almost as if we never stopped. This was becoming too much to handle.

"Who are you? How do you know everything about me? Why didn't they see you?" I spit every word out rapidly so she wouldn't interupt me, I needed answers. She kept pushing me, this time she was walking faster. "ANSWER ME!" I screamed, and turned to face her. She was smiling again. She pointed my head down, and I saw that we were on a bridge, and I was one step away from falling into my own grave. She placed both of her hands on my back this time, and shoved me off.

"Goodbye, Giselle Coral Lee."
