Free verse, general poetry. Go ahead, say "This isn't poetry!" I'll prove you wrong. This is one stanza, only one.

crashing, thrashing.
slashing, i'm acting.
i've seen your scene,
your name in lights.
spite, if i'm right.
crash. crash, flash.
fifteen seconds of fame.
no one remembers your name.
no one remembers your game.
never ending sentences with no direction.
i don't make any, any what? nothing.
forget everything i've said,
it means, means what? nothing.
forgive and forget, but don't come back.
because you were something. |
