its usually the right thing to do
but for me it wasn't
i knew that when i left you
i saw you move on
getting that sparkle in your eye
you looked as if you could soar
you looked like you could fly
but as bad as that seems
one thing was worse
the new girl was my friend
i never felt more remorse
i hurt you many times
and now i want you to know
this is hurting me so bad
and i've never felt as low
those words i said so often
i now wish i could take back
