Silently ticking

Just to keep coming

Stop doing that

Feigning your innocence

It speaks so loud

As if I should care

I should be proud

Who told you to speak

To act so bold

Let me cry fake tears

For what I don't know

I feel my heart beat

Consistent

It grows

It burns..

Who told to you listen

Continue

It kills me

The Telltale Heart (beat?!)

I don't know. I'm not much better at titles than you are. What I gave you is the kind of title I'd have used if I'd written this brilliantness--the first one that popped into my head.

Only the best for my amazing poet-friends.

I wish I were more useful though.....
