When I wake up,

I think of you.

I fall asleep to your voice,

Remembering the words you whispered.

As you slowly fall away from reality,

I watch your chest rise and fall,

The loud snores don’t bother me,

Just knowing you’re there,

Makes me feel safe.

You are my everything.

The one person I would die for,

The one I know would do the same for me,

With soft hair and sparkling eyes,

My only love.

Some people don’t understand,

They don’t know just how powerful love can be,

They don’t see the way you look at me,

The way I look at you,

No one will understand, just us.

When I first caught your eye,

I was scared,

Scared to show my true feelings,

Not wanting to open up,

But I needed too.

You took it well,

Told me the feeling was mutual,

I smiled and blushed,

Your fingers wrapped my chin,

You said,”It’s true.”

From the moment I met you,

Until death do us part,

My love shall not die,
