And your cousin laughs at you from dry land.
I just got back from the middle of nowhere AKA New Hampshire. Me and Father Dearest and my cousin Jared went to a watering hole at a river.
The water was −459.67 degrees. But despite the fact that it was freezing, it was cool, because there were these huge rocks to jump off of and I was chillin' like a villain with these really hot kids. And I have really high standards for hotness so when I say these kids were hot, you know I must mean it.
Before jumping off the terrifyingly high rocks in the river, I was too scared to do it, because I thought I'd slip or hit my head off another rock or something. But all the Hot Kids were pressuring me to do it, and then these random kids across the river were screaming at me to jump.
One of the random people across the river pulled out this huge professional photographer cameras and aimed it at me and told me to jump and he'd take a picture. Then one hot kid next to me said: "Look, its the paparazzi. Paparaz' on the rivz'. You gotta jump."
That made me laugh so hard I ended up jumping off and then choking on the water because I was still laughing when I landed in the river.
Then there were these rocks at the other side of the river and the current was really fast and strong below the rocks, so me and Hot Kids were jumping off the rocks and into the strong current so it could pull us like a ride. It was fun.
Until the whirlpool tried to fuucking kill me.
There was about five small whirlpools that we knew about, and one of the Hot Kids told me they usually weren't strong and not to worry about them. So I jump into the current and let it pull me around, and I'm having fun, until I get to the end of the rocks where the current slows down. I turned around and tried to swim back to the rocks where my cousin was, but I couldn't move.
And I was like "oh, it's probably just because the current is so strong and it's hard to swim against it. Maybe if I turn around and swim another way?"
I tried to turn around but my arms and legs were sucked under the water. I started panicking and I screamed to my cousin who was sitting on the rocks, telling him that I was stuck. He started laughing at me because I think he thought I was just kidding around by trying to swim against the current.
Little did he know I was seriously trapped in a whirlpool. And this wasn't one of the soft, harmless ones that everyone knew about. It was strong and really deep and scared the fuuck out of me because I could barely move.
Then one of the Random Guys at the side of the river told me to go underwater and swim to the right and I'd be free. It actually worked after a minute of trying. But instead of going into shock or crying because of the near death experience, I started laughing my a'ss off with my cousin about it. Once I told him that I was seriously trapped in a whirlpool, he started laughing even harder.
And then I jumped back into the water and rode in the current some more, even after I almost drowned.
I never learn. I really don't.
In other news, I need to cut Cordelia's claws because they hurt like a biitch when she sits on my lap. |
