Whats it Feel Like to be a Ghost Part 1

Hello my name is Emily, and I'm a ghost, or atleast I think thats whats going on. What do you call it when you can see everyone, but no one can see you? The best word I can think of is Ghost. It all started two day ago. I was at the park with my bestfriend. "Look at that guy Em," she was saying "he's so cute." The memory felt so distant though. So blurry. I couldn't even remember what the guys face looked like.

Yesterday I found myself walking to my house. I didn't know where I had came from, all I knew was I had the urge to be safe in my bed. The walk didn't seem long at all. I was lost in a daze. A fog casted over my mind. I almost knocked on the door, but then I thought silly girl its your own house. I laughed at myself as I walked into the kitchen. "Mom I'm home." I called. She was sitting on the coutch crying. "Mom whats wrong?" I asked, but she didn't answer. I thought she was ignoring me so I grabbed her hand. Thats when I started to worry. I could see my hand on hers, but I could feel anything. I could tell she didnt feel it either. Whats going on I thought.

Next I was running through the woods. Why did I feel so strange? Why couldn't my mother hear me? Why could'nt I touch her? So many questions ran through my head. I had to see again if it was true. Soon I came to my bestfriend house "JENNA," I screamed "WE HAVE A BIG PROBLEM!". Still there was no answer. The room started to spin a little, so I sat down in the floor. Was I breathing? I couldn't tell, but it didnt seem like it. Was my heart beating? It seems like from all the confusion it would have been racing, but I couldn't hear or feel anything. I was starting to freak out when the door flew open. Jenna rushed in with her boyfriend Jake."Jenna!" I exclaimed once more.

"I just don't see where she would have gone." She was crying

"Jenna can you hear me?" I asked.

"Maybe she will turn up you never know." Jake comforted.

She pressed her face into his shoulder as she sobbed. "I shouldn't have left her alone. I was only gone five minutes, when I came back she was gone. I thought maybe she had walked home. I figured she would call". Aparently she couldn't.

"I know its okay." Jake wispered "Its not your fault."

I dont remember much after that. I wondered around aimlessly, until the sky was dark, and I came upon a beautiful mansion. The place looked brandnew, but it also looked empty. I peeked in the curtainless window and saw that there was very little furniture in the house. I could hear thunder roar high in the clouds. Rain would soon fall. I needed to find shelter.

The front door was opperated by a key touch system. The code to enter was in number. I thougt of what it could be. Maybe it would be something simple like for numbers in a roll, or maybe it was an important birth date, or year. I kicked at a tiny piece of paper at my shoe trying to decide. Hey wait a minute I thought picking up the paper. 1807 it read. Could finding the code really be that easy. I typed the numbers into the key pad. Beep beep beep beep click.......I grabed the door knob and slid the door open.

Now here I was the next day sitting on the roof of the four story mansion watching as the hundreds of cars passed by on an interstate. I could see them all, but not one of them could see me. Could I really be dead? Would I be dead forever? The questions were too scarey to think about so I thought of something else. If I was really dead could I just jump off the edge and survive? The idea brought millions of nervous butterflies, but I was very curious to know. I walked slowly over to the ledge. It looked like a long way down. Just do it Emily I told myself, and closed my eyes.................

This is intriguing. But as a little advice, you should make it longer next time and check your grammar.

I liked it, it is pretty good. Keep me updated.
