The only story I'll finish in my lifetime! And that's because it's a oneshot.. It involves rape and some lameness but I love it and wouldn't change some of the words, but change is inevitable.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

She smiled in her moonlit room. No one was around to see, which made her even happier. It wasn't often that she felt this good, but she was in love. Everything about Cody made her fall madly in love. He was gorgeous and not vain about it. He had good taste in music, and clothes and he wasn't clingy or insane – well, not too insane. He was talented and coordinated. And he liked her.

He loved her.

She began to giggle out loud and stopped her self when she thought she heard stirring in the next room. Her parents wouldn't be nice if she woke them up after a hard day at work.

Day. It had been a perfect day for her. Bumping into Cody outside the cafeteria and the walk to fifth period. He was a gentleman and understood her so well. The conversation had flowed easily. Moving from school to work to music and on to making plans for the next afternoon.

She had actually made plans with Cody Masters for tomorrow afternoon. They would go to the movies and then hang out at the arcade. And if all went well, he would most definitely take her to Marcia Lune's party. Then she would be popular and every girl in the entire school would be jealous because she was dating The Cody Masters, the cutest coolest guy in school. Maybe the entire world.

“Breathe, Angela,” she whispered to herself. A constant reminder. “Breathe.”

--

“Explain to me again,” Angie's mom said at the breakfast table.

Angela tightened the laces of her only pair of high heeled shoes before acknowledging her mother.

“Cody Masters and I are spending the afternoon together. I'm meeting with Zoe at her place before I go to the movie theater with him. Then we'll probably hit the arcade and cause some major damage at Ziggy's.” Her mom held her confused look. “The only skateboard shop in town, Mum. Think, ok. Just pay attention and listen. If we plan to stay out longer, I''ll call and check with you. Don't worry though. You know the Masters. Cody's mom works in retail and his dad owns that big studio downtown. They're good people.”

Sighing, Angie stood and waited for her mom's approval. It was times like these she hated that her dad worked early. He wasn't the possessive type of guy. He knew when to let go and trust her, a trait her mother hadn't mastered just yet.

Brushing her brown curls aside, Mrs. Gray stared her daughter in the eye.

“Be home by ten. No excuses.”

Eyes wide open, Angela began jumping up and down in excitement.

“Don't make me regret it,” Mrs. Gray added before silencing the girl. “Ten.”

“Yes, ma'am,” Angie squealed before hugging her tightly.

--

“I can't believe your mom went for it,” Zoe scoffed on her back, looking up at Angie who had taken over the sofa. “I mean, Cody has a reputation.”

“So do you,” Angela screamed sitting up in her spot.

“I make out with strangers. He has sex with whores. I think my sins are less damnating than his.”

Choking on her soda, Angela turned to her best friend and ordered, “If my mom calls, don't tell her that. She'll never let me out of the house again and she'd twist everything up so Dad would be on her side.”

Setting the bowl of popcorn down Zoe nodded her head while munching simultaneously. “I know, I know. Dates with bad boys don't settle well with overprotective mothers.”

“Especially the insane ones,” Angela muttered under her breath.

--

“Ok,” Cody chuckled to himself, “Your mom said what?”

“It's no biggie,” Angela assured him. “She just worries a lot. Too much. I'm not going to do anything I don't want to do. You know?”

“That's cool,” Cody said nodding his head. “I never really dated a girl with morals before.”

“Is it fun?”

Cody glanced at the younger girl sitting next to him. Her green eyes sparkled and she hadn't stopped smiling since he had picked her up almost two hours ago. During the entire horror movie she had laughed, which was the complete opposite of what he had wanted.

“It's a new experience.”

She smiled as if that was the best response in the world. Leaning her head on his shoulder, she watched the blank screen flicker for a second before remembering the movie had ended nearly half an hour ago.

“Umm..” She stared at her date for a few minutes before he got the message and began to gather up all their junk.

“Did you hear about Marcia's party?” he questioned quietly, knowing they would get in trouble if they got caught.

“Loud music. Lots of booze. Empty rooms upstairs. It's a dream, I've heard.”

“Yeah,” he agreed not picking up the sarcasm. “It is. Well, I was wondering if you'd like to go. With me. Still as your date and all.”

“Sounds cool. Let me call and check with my mom. She'll flip if I miss curfew, and if she has no clue where I'm at.. It's pretty much a death march around my house.”

He laughed before snatching the cell from her hand.

“Don't worry, okay. I'll have you home a quarter before your curfew. Enough time to explain to your 'rents and still have plenty of sweet dreams about me.”

He held the cell back out to her and waited for a response. She stuck out her tongue in a mature fashion before putting the phone back in her pocket.

“In your dreams,” she scoffed before plucking his baseball cap from his head and running.

--

The ride to Marcia's house consisted of constant bickering while they fought over which radio station to listen to. They ceased their arguing when the music from the Lunes' house could be heard. Switching off the radio half a block away, they coasted while singing along to the familiar song.

After the door to the car open and the lyrics became clear, Angela silently checked off Loud Music.

Cody led Angie up the front stairs and into the midst of the crazy frenzy. Classmates stumbled by to get to the biggest room in the house that had been cleared out for gyrating teens. Besides the loud music, a mixture of heavy rock and techno tunes alternating back and forth, the strong odor of alcohol filled the house. She crossed Booze off her list and ignored the other illegal smells.

“It's a little loud down here,” Cody screamed beside her ear. Despite that she could barely hear him and opted to nod her head in agreement.

Taking her arm, he began to lead her down the hall and up a hidden flight of stairs. Even though it was hidden, several entwined bodies littered the staircase along with the distinct aura of several sexual appetites. She checked off Empty Upstairs Room and began to prepare for a night worthy mentioning to Zoe.

“We can talk in here,” Cody said shutting the door behind them.

It was an empty room with the exception of long flowing curtains and a bed covered in satin. Cody shrugged off any other thoughts before hopping onto the bed and dragging Angie with him. Fingers reaching out to pet her curls, he gazed into her eyes.

“What?” she whispered feeling her heart thudding. She was alone with The Cody Masters in Marcia Lune's house. Fate would be cruel if this was only a dream.

Slowly, he leaned forward to kiss her. If it was a dream, she wouldn't have felt his soft warm lips crushing her own. She wouldn't have been able to lean back and let Cody play with her curls again. She wouldn't have been smiling so hard while he shifted on top of her. She wouldn't have to tell him to slow down, or stop fidgeting with his belt, or to take his hand out of her pants.

“Breathe, Angela,” she thought to herself realizing where this was all going. “Breathe.”

If this was a dream, she wouldn't have noticed that no one could hear her up her. And it wouldn't have mattered that he was twice her size and almost triple her strength. If this was a dream, she wouldn't have started to worry that things were moving way too fast and it was getting way too hot and she could feel the springs digging into her back as Cody put most of his weight on her to dig a condom out of his back pocket.

“Breathe, Angela,” she reminded herself again. “Breathe.”

She wouldn't have started screaming. She wouldn't have been crying while he ripped her innocence from her. He wouldn't have sounded so needy or looked so disgusting while he slammed himself into her over and over again. She wouldn't have given up so easily. She wouldn't felt so stupid for following him and obsessing over him. She wouldn't have spent two hours putting on making and freaking out over her hair and the nonexistent split ends or changing outfits ten times because she felt fat and ugly.

If this was a dream, then she wouldn't have went through any of that.

Which sucked, because it wasn't a dream. It was all happening. Her brain couldn't process any of that while The Cody Masters had his way with her. Touching her in places her father refused to admit existed. Seeing the bruise from when she bumped into Zoe's dresser after falling headfirst off of her bed. Dripping his sweat on her exposed stomach and squeezing her hands like all of this meant something.

“Breathe, Angela,” she reminded herself. “Breathe.”

The tears stopped falling. Angie bit her tongue to keep her screams silent. She focused on the pain inside her mouth instead of the strange intrusion between her legs. Heat and hatred mingled inside of her. Every inch he touched was a turn-off, but her body responded all too realistically. She wondered what was happening in his mind. She had made the mistake of following him upstairs. He was almost a complete stranger. But he had made a choice. What could have possibly lead up to this and why was she a part of it?

IT ended somewhere when thoughts of suicide began to linger in her mind.

Cody stopped and looked into her eyes. Her intoxicating, green eyes. She was sober and sane. She had the bruises to prove it was forced. But most importantly, she had a sullied memory. And a wasted virginity.

He stood silently and zipped up his pants. The condom was thrown away swiftly and just like that it had never happened. He walked out, leaving the door cracked.

Slowly, Angela got dressed. Picking up her underwear and discarded shirt from halfway across the room. She couldn't find her other shoe and she wasn't exactly in the mood to look for it.

--

The ride home was silent. Cody hadn't brought up any subject, but he had won the Battle of the Radio Stations. Angie stared absentmindedly out the window, praying for a wall to suddenly appear and kill them both.

The Cody Masters was a rapist. He had totally taken advantage of her. He hadn't made a threat or mentioned it at all. Whether or not he ever admitted to having sex with her, it had happened. A not-so-secret secret they would share forever.

The car stopped. Tearing her eyes from the dashboard, Angela looked at her home. The lights were on but it didn't look inviting. She dreaded walking in as she was. Her eyes moved to her date. Smiling, Cody motioned towards the clock. 9:45. Exactly a quarter to ten.

He had kept his promise.
