I groaned. Loud.
“Look Iz, you’re my sister, and even though I act like I hate you, I don’t okay? I’ll always be here for you.” She said, this time with a genuine smile on her face…
“Awww, than-“
“No time for thanks. Make over now, talk later.” She replied briskly.
“Fine.” I replied, with a huge grin on my face.
2 hours later, after endless curling, primping, tweezing, plucking, scrubbing, exfoliating, shampooing, conditioning, and just general torturing, I emerged from Renée’s room looking and feeling a million times better than I ever thought could be possible.
“Wow.” Was all I said when I first looked into the mirror. I was speechless.
“See? What did I tell you? Do you look good or do you look good?” she asked me jokingly.
I gave her a friendly nudge and said, “Yeah Ren, thanks, I look really good, better than I ever thought I could, I owe you a lot.”
She was about to reply to me, when I heard a knock on the door.
"Hold on, I'll get it." I said, angry at whoever the he.ll it was interrupting the only sweet moment I ever had with Ren
I made my way down the stairs, acting like I was a movie star at a premiere (I know, I know). Stuck in my own little fantasy world, I sashayed towards the door and struck a pose before opening it. When I opened the door, still in my stupid little pose, guess who I saw? Nathan.
