There once was a trio,

Of you her and I,

We all liked each other,

Brave together, never shy.

We laughed and had fun,

Whenever we could,

We were there for each other,

Like good friends should.

Something was too weak,

And something too strong,

We didn't know what is was,

But something was wrong.

The fights started then,

Between her and I,

We wanted you to choose,

You didn't even try.

I said some stuff,

That I regret now,

She said the likes of mine.

Friendship fell apart, how?!?

We hated each other,

Hoped never to be friends,

You had to stand tall,

And tie the loose ends.

She made you promise,

Or so I'm told,

To break me and you friendship,

That had lived so old.

She got mad when you broke it,

And you cried more,

Than for me you did,

Ever before.

My heart was breaking,

I cried a lot,

Her dad was leaving,

Her happiness shot.

I'm writing poems,

For my sorrow,

Shes leaning on you,

And I'll face her tomorrow.

I want back our trio,

If that we can do,

Cuz I still remember,

My times with her and you.

She made me smile,

So why'd I get mad?

You liked her better,

Thats why I was sad.

Can you see my reasons?

For loving you?

For years so many,

I've tried to stay true.

You say you dont know,

So why not the same?

Now I've no truly good friends,

To my somewhat forgotten name.

Tell her I'm sorry,

And that I can still care,

If either of you need me,

I'll try and be there.
