Recap:
Jenna stared into the watch and the hypnotising effect came again. The room started to swirl. The top of the watch looked to be a lady with her arms together. She seemed to be mocking Jenna for falling into her trap. Suddenly, the effect wore off and Jenna looked around and was shocked. She was in New York city but everyone was wearing old timy looking clothes. They were all wearing hoop skirts and tall hats. She turned around and there was a newspaper stand. Only, the date said April 2, 1801....

Random Lady- Dear God child! What are you wearing!? Pants are for our young men! What sort of haenous style is this?! We must get you changed before anyone sees you outside my shop! Discraceful......
The lady takes Jenna into her clothing store and starts throwing dresses at her. Before she knows it, Jenna is wearing a big puffy hoop-skirt dress!
J- What is this thing?! And who are you!?
RL- Stop screaming child! My name is Viola, and that is only the latest fashion. You should be thanking me right now for getting you out of those rags.
J- Where did you put my clothes?
V- Why dear, they are right over there. But why would you want to keep those things?
J- No reason.
V- Do you have any lodging?
J- No.....
V- I would be glad to offer you a room.
J- Why are you being so nice to me?
V- Because, I need to talk to you about that watch.
J- You know about it!
V- Yes child, and you are in quite a bit of danger if anyone sees you with it. Come with me, we must speak in private.
Jenna followed Viola to a back room and sat down in a big chair.
V- Do you understand what it is you hold in your possesion? That is a time traveling device created by mystical beings. It was hand crafted by a witch. She only made it recently so it is not known to everyone. The witch is my sister in law. She told me that she threw the watch into its own portal, but you have brought it back. Only by her magic could the watch be transfered through its own portal, traveling by itself that is, but she has recently been killed. There was a certain vampire who wanted her watch. That was when she threw it into the portal. He killed her after that because he had no further use for her. It was a tragic thing. Most of the vampires in the area know about the watch, but hardly any of the humans. Tell me, what is it like where you came from? Did you come from the future or the past?
J- I guess I'm from the future according to the date-
V- Do all of the people of the future talk as you do?
J- Most of them I guess..... Well, In the future we wear clothes like I was wearing when I got here, and we have a lot more technology there.....
V- Hmmmmmm, very intriguing. Well, you must be starving! We can finish our talk later, but it seems that my cook has just about finished dinner! Let us go and eat!
