| Kimiko looked into a store window as she walked down the streets of Tokyo.No,she thought,to pink. She looked into another window and stared at a beautiful gown. The gown was white and had laces on the neck and arms. Kimiko blew a bubble with her bubble gum and walked away. She could never afford that. It had to be well over 1,000 yen! She walked up and down the streets staring at everything she wanted but only stopping at a cheap caffe to get some food. She only had about 100 yen and didn't want to spend it on somthing like clothes and jewelry. She walked out of the caffe and onto the streets of Tokyo once more. She heard screaming and she saw people scrambling all over the place for cover. She stopped a man and asked," Why is everyong running?" The man only replied by pointing and running away. She looked up and saw a boy about 16 sitting on a skyscraper and looking down on the people. "What?! He's harmless!!!"she yelled. Even though he was a mile away he heard the small screech and looked her way. His face was hard and cold. His red eye's pierced her heart as he examined her. He stood up and jumped down from the skyscraper. As he fell two black feathery wings unfolded from his back and he shot into the air as he dove down to grab her. The sky was dark with night and it was hard to see anything. He was only a couple of yards away and closing. He shot her a devious look at smiled wide. Two large fangs poked out of his mouth. They were covered with blood. "Vampire," she thought. She was frozen stiff with fear. She could not run and was virtually parilized. Suddenly a shadow stepped infront of her and leaped toward the vampire. A small blade appeared in the shadow's hand. Cold hands grabbed Kimiko by the shoulders and she disappeared around a corner. |
