"Perfect" I spat, as I stepped off the plane into perfect sunshine. "Perfect" I spat again, as if the disgust in my words would throw clouds in front of the sun.
My name is Hydrai, I have blue eyes, long blonde hair, boring as ever.
I hate this place, but most of all I hated myself for damning myself to the deepest pit of He.ll. Or, in other words, going to live in the sunniest bloo.dy place in the world.
I looked around at the other people, holidaymakers probably, getting off the plane. They all turned to each other, making jokes about their rainy hometowns. Bliss if you ask me. Stupid sunshine, curse the ball of fire that was burning my face as I stood there angrily, it was almost as if the sun wanted me to be furious. "Well CONGRATULATIONS," I thought with my hand shading my eyes, "Mission accomplished".
You are probably wondering what my problem is with the star which keeps humans alive, well, I am NOT a human, so like I care.
Okay, here is how the story goes:
"No!" I gasped as I ran through the undergrowth panting like some oversized dog.
"NO" I breathed again. They were closing in....
I ran like I had everything to lose, of course, that was exactly the case. My blue eyes were not capable of seeing in the dark night.
My blonde hair flickered across my face as I ran, like a flame of hope slowly being extinguished with despair. I was running through the forest, away from the danger that surely awaited me with open arms.
The girl with the flaming hair was going to find me soon, to soon. I thrashed out and something white flashed by my neck. I felt something settle on my back. I looked over my shoulder.
"Don't move" a voice hissed out of the darkness. "Unless you want it to be painful".
"Unless I want WHAT to be pain-" I felt a searing pain in my neck, I knew I was dead before my brain could kick into action.
I screamed suddenly, my veins were alive with pain, burning so hot, white fire through my arteries, I knew I was going to die, I WISHED I was goping to die, This hurt too much, this couldn't be real it was too much pain for one human body to contain, I was going to implode in on myself, it was so painful.
I knew nobody was going to come and save me, so I just lay there on the forest floor, my torturous screams ripping through the night.
