Azaleah wandered up to her class the next day. Science. Not bad, but not her favorite subject either. She was in a different class to the others, but there were a few of the other girls who she got on with okay.
She was just thinking about this when-
She had bumped into someone. She stumbled backwards and dropped most of her books and was about to turn to give a sarcastic comment when she saw just who it was. Not just anyone. It was Ash.
She tried not to blush and thought "Hard to get. If he doesnt notice you, don't notice him."
"Mind out the way." was all she could manage, and even to herself, her words seemed hollow.
"Sorry," he said. That voice... "Here, let me help you."
"Don't bother, i've got them."
But he picked the last of them up anyway and handed them to her anyway.
"Thanks." was all she could think of to say to him.
"Any time." he said, with that beautiful smile, that quirked up in the corners in mocking humor, and then he walked off down the corridor. |
