The door opened on que and Azaleah saw an unfamiliar figure walk through the door. A male unfamiliar someone. A someone with dark hair and eyes that were the blue-grey colour of the sea. A someone dressed in a long black leather coat, black jeans, huge black boots and a shirt of bloodied red. He was tall and thin and fair-skinned. He walked in a kind of confident, elegant way and he was...Well...
Azaleah lookede over to Loz, Fey and Kitty whoi were all watching her intently and shook her head silently. Registration was called. The new boy (though the word "boy" hardly seemed to fit") He answered to the name of Ash Redfern. A nice name, it suited him, thought Azaleah. Through the rest of registration Azaleah watched the him out of the corner of her eye, but in a way that he could not see her doing it. She was not surprised that he did not look at her once. No one ever looked at her. |
