Why can't you see past

The clouds, the black

The dark contrast

And what we lack

---

See through the dark

Inside of you

Don't you let out that rude remark

And just see through

Everybody needs to be loved

Some a child, some a cat

Some a lover, some a dove

Some a dog and some a rat

---

We harm, not help

We stab, not save

Ignore the cries, ignore the yelps

Ignore the bloodshed you seem to crave

---

Let them walk away in peace

And know you did the right thing

Let the bad things not increase

So you won't feel the neverending sting

---

Know when you have done wrong and right

You deserve after what's been done

To let the bad things keep you up all night

Because from what you've done, you can never run

---

Let it haunt you

Day after day

And for you to see through

May it never go away...
