Once apon a time there was a mermaid named Starlene.She was a princess.Her father was the king of Merania.She was the most beautiful girl in the kingdom. The Meranians were facing extinction because of the humans. Humans had discovered Merania and had been capturing Meranian citizens. Merania had gone into a war with the humans. The king of the humans was King Terence. His son was Prince Kerant. Unlike his father, Kerant was a good and nice person. He didn't think what his father was doing was right. He wished he could stop his father, but he Knew he had no power to do so.
Starlene was admired by everyone. She loved her home and was devistated by the war. Even as beautiful as she was she wasn't someone who only thought about herself.She loved her people and wanted the best for them.
She was so disturbed by the one day that she decided to take a swim outside the palace.She started swiming into unKnown territories. She hadn't been paying attention to where she was giong. What she didn't know was that a team of humans had followed her in a small boat. All of the sudden two of them jumped into the water and surrounded her with a net. She tried as hard as she could to get out but all of her attempts failed. she was caught. The humans dragged her back to their palace. They put her in a large fish tank and left her there. She was frightened and confused. About an hour later the King and his son came in. The King was overjoyed that they had captured the princess. He emediately sent a message to the Meranian King telling him to surrender Merania if he wanted to see his daughter again.
Starlene blamed herself. She told herself that if she hadn't left the palace her father wouldn't have to give up Merania. Prince Kerant was feeling guilty for not even trying to doanything about his father. He decided to help Starlene escape to make up for it. That night he snuck out of the palace and went to the prison hold. He freeded Starlene and carried her to the shore. starlene was so grateful that she gave him a fruit that allowed him breath under water. Kerant returned with her to Merania. There they stopped the war together. Kerant decided to ask the fairy princess to turn him into a merman so he could stay with Starlene in the ocean. she thought it was so romantic that she gave him his wish and turned him into a merman. Starlene and Kerant had fallen in love! Kerant asked Starlene to marry him. She said yes. They got married in a beautiful undersea garden. Kerant and Starlene ruled Merania and the humans together. Their people, even the humans, loved them. They made great decisions to benifit their people. They were the greatest rulers of all time and always loved eachother and their people.
