I asked why the flowers,

When you tried to cook,
Ending with mush,
I gave you that look.
Your spatula fell from your hand,
Laughter spilled out,
Meatballs lie on my floor,
They made me pout
Remember when we kissed,
So softly at first,
Then the heat came,
As is from a burst.
Your fingers knotted,
Grabbing my hair,
You took me away,
It felt like floating on air.
Remember the fun,
Forget our fight,
The darkness is over,
Look into the light.
Even though you're gone,
Your spirit is here,
