After the Quidditch match, the relationship between Amelia and George steadily grew. Somehow it still yet lacked a title, but this was a fact that went unseen by the love struck pair. He came by the shop steadily everyday, to either take her to lunch or just to say hello. He even came as the alley started to come alive again, just in time for the start of Hogwarts. at the beginning of September. Towards the end of August, Amelia had the shop to a somewhat organized fashion, and students realized the place was not just a ghost building, but a shop.

When George came in that day, she had barely noticed because she was overrun with students, who were scouring the shelves and shaking wands. When one had chosen its owner, the student knew, and would rush to the counter to pay. However, the streak of unfit wands causing havoc around the shop would leave her here way past closing.

"Hi." He said, coming up behind her as she paced around the shop, already starting to pick up wand boxes, and knocked over shelves and the various decor items she had set up.

"Hi." She said busily, "I'm sorry. Its just crazy in here."

"Well everybody needs a wand."

"That fax will keep me in business, I guess." She smiled, "Aren't you busy over there?"

"Quite." He said, "But Ron and Lee can handle it for a few minutes. I wanted to talk to you about something."

"Talk to me about what?"

"I got an owl from Oliver Wood this afternoon."

"I'm sorry, am I supposed to know who what is?" A kid had just smashed a vase, spraying water. Amelia was immediately rushing to the scene.

"He was, uhm, the reason that we ended up at the World Cup remember? My old Quidditch captain from school? Keeper for Puddlemere United?"

"Oh! Right, yeah, okay. I don't believe we got the chance to meet him though."

"No, the game was so crowded that I didn't get the chance to properly introduce you two, but uhm, apparently he did meet someone."

"Oh?" Another bookshelf of wands fell over, thankfully hurting no one and just causing a huge racket. Amelia winced.

"Yeah.. He said he'd like me to get in touch for Max for him."

At this, Amelia stopped, completely in her tracks. "Max? My Max? What does he was you to get in touch with her for?"

"They, uhm, well they hooked up at the World Cup."

Amelia paused, dropping all the wand boxes in her hands, she blinked a few times with her jaw almost touching the floor. "I'm sorry.. But uhm, could you do me an awfully big favor? I have to, yeah, I'll be right back."

Without a word of agreement from George, Amelia was already halfway down the street and walking into her best friend's shop, which was equally as busy as hers with eager young sports fanatics gazing over new wands and different other supplies.

"You! I can't even say the word because children are present!" The redhead blinked, and nodded towards the back office. Amelia went back, taking the cue that she should wait for her there instead.

In a few minutes, Max came back to join her, no smirk on her face but an annoyed yet satisfied look.

"I do have customers out there, ya know. So do you, I'm assuming. So why are you here?"

"You dirty s.lut!"

"Are you getting me confused with you? Because I haven't had sex on my front desk."

"No, but you did hook up at the Quidditch World Cup, didn't you?"

"Yes. I did."

"OH YOU MOST...wait, what?"

"I had a one nighter at the World Cup. So?"

"SO! Do you know who that even was?"

"Some Irish bloke," Max shrugged, sifting through some papers on the desk. "I haven't given it much thought actually, I've been a little busy."

"Oh, just a little? You hooked up with Oliver Wood, of all people!"

"Well.. he certainly matches his name, if you know what I mean."

"EW! NO! Too much detail!"

"I wasn't interested in something big. We exchanged first names. That's all I needed. It wasn't a big deal. Why is this important."

"Its important, because he's asking about you. To George. he said he's been trying to owl you for weeks."

"So I've been a bit preoccupied, like it was just a hook up."

"You're wearing Gryffindor colors."

"What?"

"You knew who he was you little liar! And you've been thinking about him too!"
