I’m begging silently,
For you to kill me.
You have the means,
The bloodied intent
Spilling crimson
Is how I want to be
Your hand wavers,
The gun falling short,
I stare at you,
Imploring, pleading, begging,
Wanting you to do
What I have never been strong enough to
Complete
You whisper my name
You beg me to stop
To stop the temptation,
To stop the begging
To stop the pleading
And the tears
You don’t want to hurt me
Not anymore
But my voice, choked and low,
Is too desirable
To raw with emotion
Emotion you have always sought to destroy.
You hand raises,
And I’m staring down the barrel,
Almost tasting the hot lead,
Imagining the blinding momentary pain
With sickening relish.
I beg you to finish
What I had started with a
Rusted razor blade.
I plead with you to finish me off,
Send me on my overdue journey
Across the river Styx to oblivion.
You gaze at me one last time,
You close your eyes
And you pull the trigger. |
