I felt my heart pound. She looked angry. She stormed up and said nothing. Was I supposed to say something? We started at each other for a minute so I decided to start.
“What’s going on!?”
“I should be asking you the same thing! Why were you spying on me!”
I had to think of a lie and quick! But she knew my best lies and excuses. I had to think of something practical… “My dog ran off, I thought he might have come here again, and he did, so I’ll be going…”
“You don’t have a dog!” I forgot that little detail. She now had her hands on her hips and was using a popular kid glare staring down at me. I couldn’t take it any more!
“I got to go!” I said as I ran off. I turned back once and saw her popular “friends” dragging her back in.
That night I was on yahoo IM with Ashley. She’s about 2 thirds as popular as Melanie with the boys. She has thick black curls that curve around her perfect freckle less face and deep brown eyes to mach. She has kissed guys before, on the lips, because of those features. Her screen name is Cocolips300.
Cocolips300: I just got done talking on the phone with Melanie. She’s really p.ssed off.
Red’nProud: So am I! You know who she was flirting with! Bradley! I mean, come on, how low could you get!!
Cocolips300: you like him!
Red’nProud: gross!!! Do not!
Cocolips300: You wouldn’t be so upset if you didn’t

I then turned it off, but Ashley put new thoughts into my head. Bradley was, well, sort of cute. He had brown looks of hair and big brown eyes, and his eyelashes do batter from time to time. AHHH! I got to stop think about this. I’ll worry tomorrow.
