I would like to rant about rants. I don't mind rants, I make a lot of them and they're good fun and I really enjoy reading people voicing their opinions, but how many of you are actually cutting down someone elses?
You CANNOT, in rants say that websites should be removed or stories taken down or various other things because you disagree with the concept or content. It's not fair. Glady voice that you hate the site and find that it's giving a disgusting and morally wrong message but you do not have the right to declare its removal, everyone is allowed to publish what they want on the world wide web and no one has the right to order it removed because they don't like it. It's just not fair.
It's hard to write this rant without contradicting myself, so can I make it clear to all of you I'm not saying that there rants shouldn't go up, I'm just saying you are not allowing people the basic human right of freedom of speech, which you cannot do. What right is it of yours to remove one basic human right because you want your opinion enforced? What right I ask, what? |
