A/N: Blood and gun violence is mentioned in the little dream below. If you don't like either, you can skip over the dream.

Also, to those who think its funny to rate a story as one star and R, grow up. Your causing trouble for the writers and then they have to go back and post it all over again.

8 years later...

*** A man in his early twenties ran down the barren alleys clutching his bleeding wound. Behind him, three men holding guns were chasing him. Bullets were being shot at him with deadly intentions. The young man continued to run, looking for somewhere to hide from the thugs. Unfortunately, he was too late, and a bullet struck him in the back.

He doubled over onto the ground and collapsed onto his stomach, the oozing liquid pouring out of the bullet wound. He couldn’t move, he couldn’t breath, all he could do was wait for death to embrace him into eternal slumber. The thugs had run off and he was left alone to die in the alley, or so he thought.

Footsteps were heard behind him, getting louder and louder as they neared. Blood began to gurgle in his throat. He spat the warm liquid out onto the ground in front of him and writhed in pain. Someone knelt down beside him. He tried to look up at their face, but he was blinded by pain. The person leaned in towards his ear and whispered to him. It was a woman.

She brushed the hair away from his neck, and sank her teeth into him. The pain was worse than the bullet lodged in his back. He opened his mouth to scream but nothing came out. His life was being sucked out of him, literally. His eyes rolled into the back of his head as pain over-took his body. Before he was completely drained, the woman released his throat from her jaws. He laid there for a moment, completely numb. Then the pain came roaring back. Something was happening to him. The woman turned around and started walking away, leaving him alone to change into whatever she had made him. He continued to writhe in pain and let out a blood curdling scream into the midnight sky.***

Kyou’s eyes shot open and he quickly sat up on the sofa. The sent of cinnamon filled the one bedroom apartment. Mitsuki was in the kitchen, singing along to the stereo and baking.

“ Tsuki no mahou ga kieru nara,

Sayonara ga mata otozureru kara.

Ima omoi ga tsutawaru nara,

Te o tsunai de kimi to odoritai.

Hikari no naka e,

Kaeru beki basho e,

Mata dokokade kimi to aeru kara.”

Kyou smiled. ‘If only she had grown up in a different city. She could have become a great musician,’ he thought.

The song ended and Mitsuki looked into the living room.

“Oh!” She said, “Did I wake you?”

Kyou rested his head on his hand and shook his head. Mitsuki turned down the music and stopped what she was doing. She walked into the living room and sat on a chair near Kyou.

“Was it that dream again?”

A/N: The lyrics to the song Mitsuki was singing is from the song "U+K" by Gackt. If anyone wants the translation for excerpt of the song I put in the story, you can DM me.
