There Jakken was, staring at Ina. Jakken and Ina were very good friends since their childhood. They would often play together. Jakken saw Ina sit in the garden bu herself, something she would usually do when she was upset. "what are you up to Na-Na? Why so far away from the kingdom" He gave her a couple of flowers hepicked for her to lighten her mood. "Dont. Call. Me. That". Replied Ina. "You know I hate that nickname. And I was just thinking...are those for me? You're always giving me flowers. I dont know why though considering I have this whole garden". Ina took the flowers and lay them on her lap. She looked at them with adoration. Jakken chuckled. "Well Ina, I wouldn't be picking them if you weren't so gloomy all the time. Look, these are all from your fans. I have a whole bag filled with your fan mail. Maybe you should have a look at them". He tossed the bag at her side, and sat next to her.
"No thanks. All they probably say are how I'm their role model or something like that. I can't really feel good reading them when I know I did nothing to earn the title of being a role model. All I am is just a princess with nothing to do for her people. I really admire you Jakken. Even though you are a messenger, you are useful and help make life easier and better. All I do is just sit around..."
"Are you still moping about that? *chuckles* Ohhhh Ina, Ina-Ina-Ina. You ARE special. Just because great Queen Serena was a huge hero, doesn't mean you have to live up to her expectations. You can be a hero in your own way. To me, everytime you smile, you are my hero because you makemy day. So how about it?"
"HA-HA. *sigh* I guess....I guess I just want to be able to something great. This world doesn't feel right, you know? With just happiness on Earth and the Moon Kingdom, I feel like there isn't REALLY any balance. Nobody is motivated to do anything. With no evil, nobody has a strong heart. With-"
"Now dont tell me you wish there were evil in this world Ina. Thats not what you really want, is it?"
"...no...no its not. I dont know, but with the way things are, there will be no evolution".
"I guess.." said Jakken. "Well I got to get back to work. Ill see you later at Dinner Na-na. *winks*"
And so Jakken left, and Ina got up a few minutes later and headed back to the palace. |
