Months had passed and soon the three sisters were engaged to be married. For a mermaid, weddings were never that happy under the sea because often they were married to men that hated. True love had been but a myth til then. Strangely enough, their weddings were set to be on the same day. The sea enchantress had appeared to them each in a dream to say that the others were safe.
The evil prince had not given up and used an old forbidden location spell to find them. Of course by this time every merman and mermaid was tired of the searches. The prince would've given up had it not been for pride. The prince now knew each of the sisters lived on an island home and could tell something happy was going on. He decided to spoil the fun and cast the lavathoun storm spell to rise the seas and lower the islands into the sea. No one on the islands would be spared and the mermaid sisters would finally be brought to him. Perhaps if Rose married him, he would spare her and her sisters, maybe. It was a truely evil plan, but the sea enchantress found out. |
