There really is no point to life,
If you wear a mask that doesn't fit you.
It could be to small,
Or to large,
Or you could be the lucky one that fits you just right.
Its hard to be someone you're not,
Its hard to pretend to be a fake.
Don't even try,
It's not worth you time.
Just drop the mask of shame.
I live behind false happiness,
I'm a really great actress.
No one can see how I really feel,
What a stupid mask.
It's easier to tell the truth,
But people shy away.
Its hard to listen to what they say,
When they find out what I'm really like.
So why do they try,
To even be friends,
If they don't like who I am?
I wish I could drop my mask,
I've made it impossible,
I've glued it to my face.
