As her mom yelled at her, Candace began to pack her cloths. Now she was grateful for having a room on the first level. After she finished her packing she carefully opened her window. She then dropped her bag out the window and went to her dresser and grabbed her stash of money. She knew that she had a lot, considering that she had been saving all the money she could find or get for the past year. She had actually been planning to run away for some time as it was. She looked back at her house one last time. She didnt know how long she was going to run for. She just knew she had to get away from there. She ran as far as she could, not paying attention to were she ran.
Thats when she ran into him. She didnt mean to, she wasnt paying attention to where she ran.
"Oh, im sorry" Candace stampered, she then looked up into his eyes and felt an emotion
she had never felt before. She couldnt even describe the emotion to
herself.
"No, its my fault I wasnt really watchin were i was going" the boy said.
Thats when Candace saw the bag on his back. Was he running away to?
"Are you running away?" Candace asked him?
"Huh?, oh yea, plz dont tell anyone you saw me." He stammered.
"Can I come with you, Im running away also" Candace asked him
"Umm...sure, it will be cool to have someone to talk to" he replied with a smile.
"My name is Candace, whats yours" Candace told him
"Its Chris" Chris replied
Chris and Candace then went to the woods that was on that street and started to go south by walking in them so the wouldnt get found. They knew they would have to be careful and not get found. As they walked they talked about why the ran away. Chris told her he ran away because..... |
