Yet again, another true story about my recent life. If I don't make some kind of written story about it though, I'll forget.

~ ~ ~ ~ ~

I'm standing.

At lunch.

With some guys.

My buddy James pulls his blue-white sleeve over his entire arm and hand and makes some sort of gun like weaponry with his arm, stretching it out to a straight horizontal position. He makes a high-pitched sound effect while his arm jets back. A guy whose name is still a mystery to me (who I call red-hooded guy) pretends to be seriously wounded. He recovers within an astonishing 3 seconds.

"How dare you shoot me with your laser gun!" Red-hooded guy proclaims. He then does same thing with his sleeve and arm, making the same sound effect.

I giggle, like I always do. I shake my head with a sigh. *Heh, boys.*

"How do you know he was shooting with a laser gun?" I question.

"Because, you can just tell." Red-hooded guy explains, and then redemonstrates the process of how a laser gun is immitated, using the same high-pitched sound effect.

"I don't get it. I don't understand. My brother does that exact same thing." I say.

Smiles from them. Smiles only they can administer. Smiles I enjoy. Boy smiles.

I still don't get where the urge to pretend-shoot with your arm comes from. It's totally senseless to me. I've personally never felt the need to shoot someone with my laser arm gun.

Boys.
