I THOUGHT You Cared...
I THOUGHT you cared,
but that was a mistake.
I THOUGHT I meant something,
but it was all just fake.
All of our times together,
the good and the bad,
now you've left me,
You were all I had.
I miss those days,
when it was just me and you,
but then something happened,
and it was all through.
Once you saw her,
you tossed me aside.
You broke my heart,
and wounded my pride.
So now I cry,
all alone at night.
Your hurt me so much,
Yet said it was right.
So now when I cry,
because my heart was not spared,
I will know it was your fault,
because I thought you cared.
