I've received this comment on a twisted story I wrote.
"Uh, I agree with Bell_Belle that's really sick. Twilight aside. That's the sickest thing I've ever heard. How could you ever do that to a child? So go to hell. Do you have any sense? I don't care if it's a fictionsl child. The idea is still there. And if I were you I'd be careful of what comes out of your mouth. It can get you in a lot of trouble. People will think you need mental help. And I wouldn't blame them. I think you do too. Cause any sicho who wants to hurt children should die. Not cool Aerro. Really.

You know what? I think I'm smart enough to realize that it's twisted. It's intended to be twisted. It's a real issue and a fictional story that is intended to be disturbing. Some of the best authors are loved because their art touches on things that society wants to ignore. I don't believe in what happened in the story, I don't agree with what happened, I don't drown babies in the toilet. I don't fuucking want to hurt kids. I love kids, and think they are the greatest joy to life.
Just because someone writes a story, and their characters make bad choices, doesn't mean the author does too.
If that was all you had said, I think I would be fine. Annoyed, but fine. I can see the point of view. But then you had to start in with a lecture.
Guess what? I actually do have mental problems. I have mood issues, have been diagnosed with a bunch of stupid craap, and used to attend therapy until I told my mother that if I had to go one more time I'd probably die.
Thank god I have a mother who understands me.
But that's not the point. The point is, you have no idea who I am. You don't know about my life, my family, you don't know what I believe. You don't know whether I'm religious, you don't know what political party I am, you don't know SQUAT.
So you have no call to start in telling me about my mental problems and how I should go to hell.
You're not even the first one. You're just the lucky straw who broke the camel's back. So you get the rant that's really directed at everyone who goes out and makes idiotic comments.
One of my great loves has always been writing that went outside the little tiny box we call home. I want to take unbiased looks at issues. I want to THINK.
Maybe I'm being stupid by this rant. Maybe you're an abuse victim who I've just hurt terribly. I probably shouldn't even publish this thing. I'm just being hypocritical.
But, in short,
PLEASE DON'T TELL RANDOM PEOPLE TO GO TO HELL JUST BECAUSE YOU DON'T AGREE WITH THEY KAY THNX BAI.
