Like any school, either wizarding and Muggle, Hogwarts has, always has had and always will have a social hierarchy. This is how it’s supposed to go:
1st: The Elite Quidditch Players, e.g. almost all of the Gryffindor team including Alex Patterson, Brandon Thomas, my brother Tyler Byrd (for some reason unknown to me!) and lastly but most unfortunately, their star player James Potter.
2nd: The rest of the not elite Quidditch players. Also there are the girls who think they are amazingly beautiful, are SO easy and are all over the Quidditch players, elite or not! Let’s call them the groupies!
3rd: The normal, sane people who are without a doubt the most fantastic, amazing specimens you shall ever have the pleasure to meet! (a.k.a me, Albus Potter, Rose Weasley, Darcy Franklin and all my other friends)
4th: The depressed, the quiet, and the downright strange!
5th: Finally, and I quote from the intellectual brain of Slytherin Tamera Yaxley, ‘The Dorks’. Such a lovely sweet child she is!
Although, as you can see, there are large ‘boundaries’ in the school, I couldn’t care less! Let’s face it, if I feel like socialising and expanding my social horizon to more than the people in my so called ‘class’, then I bl.oody well will! I don’t abide by the stupid hierarchy!
If there is one group though, that for the life of me I will never understand, it is the ‘Potter Parade’. Yes, you did just hear me right, I did say ‘Potter Parade’. The 4th year girls on the train were merely a few of the tonnes of girls who would watch James Potter train, follow him unbelievably obviously between his classes; it was common knowledge that most of the girls had been caught on various evenings trying to sneak into the Gryffindor changing room so they could watch him shower……
Call it what you like.
I call it st.alking.
They got him to sign their hats, their shirts; school s.lut Elouise Lambert got him to somehow got him to sign her stomach (apparently she didn’t wash it for a month after)! I mean it’s as if he’s a sort of god or rockstar for crying out loud, and I’ll tell you right now that he is none of those! He may be quite toned from his many hours of Quidditch training, but I don’t even know how that’s impressive! He’s arrogant, vain to the point of distraction, and basically an all round attention seeker. He lapped up all the attention he got from the girls, and frankly it made me quite sick. I didn’t care that his dad was Harry Potter; Al is no way near as arrogant as he is! He didn’t prance around the castle on his high horse and cause three or more girls to be sent to Madame Pomphrey in a dizzy wreck every hour! I am just glad that his nauseating charm will never have an effect on me.
Never.
