I can't see straight, I'm breaking down
Deadly winds rush through my town.
The peace is dead, the hope is crushed,
And busy streets have now been hushed.

Brilliant leaves have all turned brown
If we can't leave we'll surely drown.
I'm all messed up and feeling rushed,
Sick and tired, ill and flushed.

I can't see straight, I'm breaking down
Painted faces, streaming gowns.
It's all so fake, just plain airbrushed
I hope you *mimes have had enough.

Music blasting all around
Echoes in my empty town.
On pain of death, you must be shushed
Silenced, but you must be tough.

A false idol, beneath the crown.
The breeze is spent, the river gushed
Lived and died, but did adjust.
