I'm Emslie. Chances are, you don't know me and have never heard of me. Thats fine.
The government usually likes to keep it hushed up that there are things they can't control, however, it's a fact that things can avoid the government's roving gaze.
I, and several of my aquaintences, are some of those things. We don't actually have many rules that are carved in stone, they usually change every month or so. So, you see, if the government did that, the results would be chaotic.
You could say that we have our own government. Our own laws, specialized for our own people. There are so few of us left, that a real government would be rendered pointless. Witches don't need governments. Our powers do not come from political leadership. They are what we would call- elemental. These powers mainly come from a substance called "Grey matter" from the old english and latin that we usually speak.
We call it "Grae Mattir". Grey matter is only found in one place in the entire universe. I have never been there, nor do I wish to distribute the name of that place. Scientists are constantly trying to reproduce the Grey matter. They have no proof that it exists. They have made many feeble copies, but nothing that will ever produce the surreal tranquility and elemental energy that true grey matter does.
I am a witch. There is no such a thing as "flying broomsticks" unless some scientist has recently discovered a misconcepted version of a black matter gem. I won't get on to that topic right now.
I sincerely hope that some worthy being with a pure heart reads this and finally realizes the urgency of my plea. Grey matter is the only thing that will protect my race from extinction. As my time is limited, I hope you will read this and know the true meaning that I cannot reveal as there are horrible creatures out there who shall relish my passing. help us. |
