I went to my locker right at lunch. I did my combination. When I opened my locker a little note fell out. I opened it. It read:
To Audrey Roses are red, violets are blue, sugar is sweet and so are you. Love Andrew
As I read it my heart was beating faster and faster. I grabbed my money from my locker. Sure enough there was a note on my money.
“Why doesn’t he just talk to me?” I whispered to myself. The note was blank. I went to buy chips and a soda. Then I sat at a table with my friend Alex.
“How did it go?” She asked.
“Okay. Well, he thinks I’m smart. He also kissed me.” I replied.
“I see a love connection!” She said with a huge smile on her face.
“Just, shut up.”
“Okay. So are you two a couple?” She asked.
“I have no clue. But he sent me a cheesy note.” I said as I gave it to her. She read it.
“That’s not cheesy! It’s cute!” She said as she took a bite out of her apple. The bell rang. I went write to P.E. Today we were playing basketball. When P.E. was done I went to the girl’s locker room to take a shower. After school I went to my locker to get my homework. Then Alex caught up to me.
“Will you be mad at me if I told you that I saw Andrew kissing Jannel?” I couldn’t believe my ears. My heart felt like it was going to explode. I ran to my house to cry me eyes out. |
