Azura stared at the man on the throne,a tall man with blonde hair and black eyes "did mother re-marry?did father die?i need answers"Azura snapped.They danced back to a table where Rukoe was eating and Ladia was trying to see Azura's folks "hey your mom is really pretty for her age"Azura mumbled thanks "but thats not my dad" "shall we mingle and find our answers"Ladia grinned.Azura nodded but before he could turn around a girl with a light red mask in a renaiisance dress bowed "would you like to dance"

Reyd and Ladia giggled and Rukoe urged Azura too "but-" "go dance"Ladia said in almost a commanding voice.Azura nodded and the girl took his hand 'i have felt this hand before'he thought ,"you dance well"she laughed and for the first time that night Azura smiled.

Reyd sat at the table and suddenly a man in black armor with a black mask came up to her and put out his hand,and another man for Ladia.Reyd rubbed at her arms "its getting colder in here"she mumbled and Rukoe said "erm they are with me sorry"Reyd tried to shake her head but the man took Reyd's hand anyway,and the other took Ladia's . "okok!"Ladia whimpered a sec and danced,she became colder..and colder..

"i have to do something"Rukoe muttered.

Meanwhile Azura was laughing with the renaiisance girl "umm listen i havent' been in this town for a while do you think you can tell me who replaced the original king?" the girl shook her head "i can't tell you really,i just got here a little while ago my self but i can tell you the people are unhappy with him"Azura clenched his fists and said nothing.Azura turned around,after all from him being a wolf he had better sound hearing and he heard a scream from outside over all the noise. "I must go,i'm sorry"Azura bowed to the girl and the girl bowed back "doubt i would get another chance anyway"the girl muttered under her breath and waved.

Rukoe took all his power when he ran outside and he suddenly yelled "STOP!"then he fell on the ground.The two men with Reyd and Ladia stopped in mid -air "what kind of spell was that"Azura tried to shake him awake. "it stops them for a few seconds,get the girls now.."Azura nodded and grabbed Reyd and Ladia running with them "back inside or the inn?" "do you have your answers"Azura shook his head "then back inside of course!" Azura nodded and sat the girls down in a closet "stay here" "were not little kids"Reyd snapped but Azura shut the door "time to mingle.."he rolled his eyes.

Azura walked casually up to an old woman and said "Excuse me miss,i'm quiet new to this town could you tell me who replaced the king?" the old lady said "you look so familiar.."then she shook her head "that is King Mulsham,the king was replaced 5 years ago when he became ill and.."the lady's voice trailed off and Azura's throat clogged up "thank you" Azura walked off and opened the closet door where Reyd and Ladia were at.Reyd was playing cards with Ladia while Rukoe possessed a light spell "its more fun in here"Rukoe said"Azura slammed the door "my father is dead,hes a replacement..i wasn't here to tell him bye"Azura choked and slammed his fists on the floor.

Reyd touched Azura's arm "it's going to be okay,Azura you still have your mom and from what i saw she seemed content,and safe"Ladia nodded and said "time has passed,i think you father knew you loved him ..he did know that"Rukoe put down his cards and also spoke up "it's ok Azura,i'm sure hes watching over you now and is very proud of you" "proud of what?im a samurai' ranger that left his family oh yeah im really respected" "but you have made something of your self"Reyd smiled.Azura was quiet "yes..." everyone was quiet and Reyd said "i don't know if this is the right time to ask this ..but who were you dancing with?" "i didn't catch her name..but she was so familiar to me,it's like i had known her all along"everyone shrugged. "and who were those men in black"Ladia said ,"which by the way thank you Rukoe"she smiled. "i think they were the black hooded figures,what do they want with us"

an hour later they came out of the closet,from playing poker and Reyd was whispering to Ladia "i still want my necklace b-"everyone stared,no one was there ,not a person in sight. "d-did it end..?"Rukoe whispered. "maybe..all i know is this town is freaking me out"Azura said heading for the door,then a voice said "son,welcome"Azura turned around to see the Queen coming down the stairs.
