The TV stood out from the darkness, radiating light and noise. "Be careful, you don't want to do that just ye-". A figure of a man putting up a chandelier and another ordering him about cried out from inside the TV.

"Sarcastic pun," droned a voice from the world of reality. "Oh now you really have gone and done it, well done!," a voice on the television said sarcastically. "Cue mechanical laughter," sighed the boy and the room filled with mechanical laughter from inside the TV.

"I wish you would stop doing that, Ray, it freaks me out!," cried a shrill voice. A girl sat in front of an island of a desk, emerged from a book by Rene Decartés. Her hair was a bright white and slipped down her back as if it were made of silk. Her eyes were also a very light shade of blue that could give you the idea that she was blind. The desk light masked her features in shadows. The boy sighed again and lent forward, leaning his elbows on his knees. His face was just visible from the darkness. He looked tired. His brown hair looked as though the colour had been washed away. He had the look that someone much older than he should look.

"Holly," he breathed. "Why are we here?,"

"What do you mean, Silly? We live here!," She giggled.

"But why are we in this place? We aren't we like the people on TV," he pressed. Holly's face became serious. Her pupils looked up at the invisible ceiling for comfort. She heisted before giving an answer in hushed tones.

"Because we are special," she whispered, just loud enough for Ray to hear.

"I don't like being special," he moaned. "I want to have a...a...fam..ily?...and have fun,"

Holly knew how to handle him. He had asked the question several times before.

"I'm your family," She cooed. "We all are, Dr. King, Nurse Loved and me. We are all you will ever need," She was sitting next to Ray now. They were the same age but Holly had the upper-hand. "We are going to have a new member soon, a brother, or so I hear. I heard the doctors talking about it," Ray was looking at his toes under his pure white socks.

"They promised that a few months ago, remember?," He said, disappointed. Holly did remember. She couldn't forget. There was a reason he didn't show up but she knew it was best not to tell Ray. She gave him a reassuring smile.

"I'm sure he'll come this time," She said.

"Really?," Ray was getting excited.

"Really,"

"We have fully analyzed the chemicals found in his body, sir," The two scientists stood side by side in white coats. The one of the left was overweight and his white coat did nothing to complement his size. On the coat, a name tag was pinned. It read: "Dr. Bill Cedric" in under dramatic letters. He was bald and carried a green folder under his arm. The scientist on the right was much more thinner. He was tall and wore glasses. His long hair was tied up in a pony tail and didn't look as though it had been cared well for. His name tag read: "Dr. Frank La Raide". They nearly bowed as they stood in front of Dr. King. There was a superior aura that surrounded him as he sat on his comfortable chair.

"What did you find?," Dr. King looked at them both through small clouded eyes.

"It wasn't what we were looking for, sir," The scientists said in unison. Dr. King let out a sigh of disappointment before looking back at the two scatter brained scientists.

"This means that someone out there is still at risk to the public, sir," Bill said quickly.

"I know perfectly well what it means!," growled King.

"If the virus spreads, the world will be in jeopardy, sir," Frank said with a french twist in his words.

"Shut-up! The both of you!," shouted King with a frightening glare. He was standing now. The chair was pushed against the wall. The two scientists cowered behind one another. King gave another sigh. Those two really are helpless.

"Do we have any leads?," he asked, lifting his tone to something more friendly. The scientists lead themselves away from each other, slightly embarrassed.

"Yes ,sir, we think that it could be his sibling," Bill was looking down at his shoes as though he were a school boy.

"But there is a slight chance it isn't," Frank was a mirror image to Bill. "There is a chance that there is no trace of the virus in his body," King sat down. He looked years older before these two had come in.

"Find him!," he yelled from the depths of his chair. The two scientists nearly tripped over each other as they hurried out. "And don't come back until you do!,"
