Help!! I thought deserately, walking quickly past door after door, rounding endless corners and passing neverending lockers. Every time I thought I was getting close to the classroom, I found out I'd just been going round in circles. I was almost giving up hope when a voice spoke out from a doorway to my right.

"You're lost, aren't you?" I turned to see a tall quite muscular guy leaning against a door frame leading, I saw as I looked past him, to a photocopying room. The boy was also carrying a pile of documents in his hand. He was about 6 foot, with floppy brown hair and large hazel eyes. He was smiling as if amused by the whole situation. I gave an embarrassed smile.

"Just a bit! You don't know where Miss Regents' class is, do you?"

"English too!" I raised an eyebrow.

"Incase you hadn't already gathered, yes I am!" He walked fowards, still smiling.

"Well, I'm in that class now, so come with me. Max Greenwood," he added, nodding to me. "Your name?" I glanced at him then looked away quickly, staring at the floor. He glanced up when I didn't reply. "Well?"

"Darcy...Darcy Constantina," I mumbled quietly.

"What?"

"Darcy Constantina," I replied loudly. He stopped. So did I. He looked at me. I looked straight back at him.

"Darcy Constantina?!" he said in disbelief. I sighed.

"Oh god don't go all weak and 'oh my god your so famous blah blah blah I'm your biggest fan blah blah blah'! It annoys the hell out of me!"

"No, I wasn't actually," Max replied, catching me mid-sentence. "I was gonna say that we'll be seeing alot more of eachother 'cos me and my dad are your groundsmen. It's my first dy today after school actually."

"Oh!" I went pink with embarrassment. "I'm sorry, I-"

"It's ok, you're probably used to all that stuff. Don't worry 'bout it!" I smiled at him. I liked Max, he was cool but really sweet, not to mention hot!

"So," I said, "Where's this classroom then?"
