Tears evaporate,
But the cause usually doesn't.
Blood drips, sometimes gushes,
But over time the physical wound heals.
Bruises disappear within a few weeks,
I wish emotional bruises would do the same.
Memories are meant to fade.
So why are these memories of you still haunting me so many years after?
There's meant to be some sun in every life,
But mine is just filled with torential downpours.
Does this mean I don't actually have a life???
