There once was a girl, sad as can be
she was in love with a boy everyone could see
This boy was amazing, made her feel great
she knew theyd be together, it was written in fate
This girl loved this boy, since the day they met
he is the one her heart will never forget
she knew they belonged together from the start
he took a whole section of her heart
the day they broke up, she thought the world would end
shed be gone if it wasnt for her only friend
she tried to move on, she really tried hard
her dreams of being happy had been severly charred
one day she woke up and couldnt take it anymore
shed waited forever, and shed have to wait more
something in her heart told her not to do it
that in the stars it was not writ
The way he made her feel, there was no other way
they might never see eachother, she had to walk away
he told her one day, out of the blue
that she was something he just didnt want to persue
that was the day, when things started to go down hill
numbing the pain, pill after pill
there was no more reason to live
his words hurt to much to ever forgive
That night she wrote a letter to the ones who cared
a letter to the only ones who were ever there
she started with i loved him, and he just didnt see
now he'll never know how much he really did mean to me
Im leaving this place, im going to move on
so please remember me even though im forgone
she ended this letter with the words they didnt want to hear
i died for love, and im leaving with a single tear |
