Hello there. I guess you're wondering what my story is, right? I mean, I look pretty normal. Well, that's only how it starts...

I seemed like a normal teenager, you know, acting like just another clone in the crowd. But on the inside, I was really much different. For one thing, I wasn't nearly as concerned with how I looked compared to practically every other girl at school.

I was just going for a quiet walk on a lazy summer day, enjoying the warm breeze. And I was quite a nature person, so I was just looking up at all the clouds as I walked. Right as I looked down I walked right into someone. To tell the truth, I couldn't tell if the person was male or female. They wore a dark cloak that covered up everything about them. There was something about this person - I wasn't really sure - but I couldn't keep myself from following as they walked away.

The person led me to the edge of a forest - if that's what you could call it. It wasn't really an actual forest since it was isolated within the town. Anyway, I looked down as we walked through the trees, still entranced in some way, and noticed that we walked on a path. It wasn't very well-worn, but used enough that people would stay on it. I was very curious about the path. I had been to the 'forest' a lot, but I'd never seen this path, or any other path before.

It began to get darker. I tried to listen for sounds of cars or anything, and I realised that I couldn't hear a single sound. I became more and more worried as the darkness gathered and no end to the trees was visible. Worried, and then frightened. Suddenly I asked myself a question that I was surprised at not having asked before. Why was I following this strange person anyway? Why didn't I just stop walking? Then I tried to stop. I tried, and I failed. What was so wrong with me that I couldn't even stop walking?

To Be Continued...
