Tada. I'm baaack!~ How long has it been? Feels like years (actually, one of my most recent posts was like summer of '08; i checked..). I suddenly felt like writing a poem; I blame Tamika. She insists on me writing SOMETHING.

Have you ever seen silence?
It reaches past the trees
As summer changes to fall
And leaves swirl in the breeze
Silence lingers there
Once everyone has left
Cold eyes blink relunctantly
As they all hold their breathe
Silence has a certain smell
An aroma that fills the air
It leads all the world astray
And most live without a care
Silence rests so solemnly
As time barely passes by
No one seems to see it's there
No one wonders why
It really is phenomenal
That silence does exist
Humanity goes on in chaos
And silence barely shifts |
