I'd finally got used to cmpus and Aviva and I were headed to dance, our teacher Mr. Kuurtz promised us a treat today. We met Robert at his dorm and his friend Danny. The grass was wet with dew and it got on my brand new Uggs, unfortunately I totally spaced and I forgot to water-proof them so now they look like mold is growing on them. I checked my watch it was 10:15 and I just remembered my stomach was empty, I skipped breakfast, it was Danny's birthday last night and I watched American Idol (I taped it, we still get Fox here in France) I reached into my meseger Jansport and pulled out a protein bar. Aviva and Robert had left for their acting course so left me to rot and die with Danny. I smiled shyly. Previous that year Robert told me that Danny was totally into me but I was totally not into him. We walked silently to the hall. Mr. Kuurtz was waiting in the room looking at himself in the mirror. "We are doing a tango!" he shouted excitedly. I looked at Danny with cheeks a firery red his shaggy blonge hair in his hazel eyes. I tilted my head slighly never noticing Danny was kinda cute. My cheeks felt hot and I felt aas though I just swalloed a jaw breaker whole. "Pick Your partners." said Mr. Kuurtz. I went to the other side of the room and waited for Danny to ask me. I leaned against the brick wall and looked out the window, pretending to be somehow interested in the dumpster outside. I turned around and Danny was with Clara. I wrinkled my eyebrows and crossed my arms in front of my chest trying not to show my hurt feelings. Danny was giggleing and all ready had his arms around her waist practicing. Shane was hanging around the mirrors. "Why haven't you asked anyone?" I asked trying to regain my confidence. Phoebe turned from in front of him and she sneered. I turned I felt my face harden. "Whould you like to-"
"YES!" I turned; it was Robert.
"Don't you have an acting course?" I asked twirling my hair in the most attractive way possible.
"Yes, but there was a sub so I decided to come and tango instead."
I nodded.
WE grabbed onto eachother as Mr. Kuurtz instructeed us. I checkd my watch: 11:30 classwas over and Robert walked me to lunch; we talked and we went with our normal courses.
