There is no light outside my window
There is black space outside my door
And you say this is how it's meant to be
Well, I can't do this anymore

So I'll find a random webpage
And post there this depressing song
The emotions are mostly borrowed
I did not cry for long

For all the internet poets
Yearning for some bead of praise
To fill something the real world can't
To bring purpose to their days
