Laine was perfect.
Pretty,Smart and talented.
Sometimes she was called a nerd,
for getting straight A's And never failing.
But she was always happy,
never leaving a trail of tears,
Her boyfriend was the popular jock.
the girls all asked how did she get him!
Some say she used to cart around her intelagince just as well as his.
Until the day when the girls who talked about her acted as life-long buds.
Her and her boyfriend went to a party,
She had lots of fun,
until her boyfriend got drunk,
wouldn't let her drive home,
and the car slid,straight into the ditch,
Her boyfriend stumbled out of the car rubbing his head his buds behind them came picked him up,
left laine all alone in the dark,
The girls cried to the camera,
the boy said he tried to get help yet the bartender at a local bar will tell you diffrent,
her mom and dad sued his parents and he got beaten,
when the truck slid into the road she got stuck and the beer and the truck,gasoline and the lighter that went off after they left were the ones who could tell you why
laine will never be popular why she will never be recoginized and why she could never tell her boyfriend you killed me |
