This is a re-post, I gave some honest advice to -someone- and they responded by lashing out at my writing. I love friendly criticism BUT only do so if you read my poem and are willing to give me some pointers as well. Also just because you didn't like something I said to you or you didn't like a line or two in this poem doesn't mean you should rate it 1*. Rate the poem as a whole, not me.

Allowing the pain to go away
Tears that will come back another day
Emotions expressed by a sweet melody
Passion and feelings running free
Sitting in a corner weeping to myself
Bottled up sadness
Low notes floating
Sad voices singing
A sanctuary safe at home
Living where no one knows
Words melt on my frozen tongue
Stuttering songs that can’t be sung
Sounds running through my head
Reading books that can’t be read
Hearing voices that can’t be heard
Seeing things that aren’t there
Puff of smoke
Pure illusion
Magician’s tricks breaking a heart
The painful training of body and mind
