After Rundolf left I turned and glared at both Stacy and Miranda they seen me, but tried not to pay attention. I knew that had something to do with Rundolf all of a sudden showing up to the park. How did he know were I was if they didn’t? I sprinted over to them and they both whispered something to each other. I bumped into Stacy and she laughed although I didn’t. “Who told him were I was?” I asked. Both of them looked at each other and gave warning glances. I rolled my eyes because I knew both of them weren’t going to tell me right away. “OMG what the heck you guys, who told him to come here?” I asked. At that moment Miranda smiled and I knew then and there it was her. I playfully pushed her, but wanted it to be real.

“Look Casey we both did. We seen how you was dreading the days as they went by wanting to him again; so we search for him online hoping he was in the area and lucky for us he was,” said Stacy. I smiled on the inside because deep down I really did want to see him again. “Well I didn’t,” I lied. “I was just dreading because I was a little down that’s all,” I said continuing on with the lie. Both of them looked at each other and rolled their eyes. “Oh please Casey like we’re going to believe that,” said Miranda playfully punching me in my arm. I laughed so did she, Stacy just watch us both a thin line taking the form of her mouth. She then smiled and joined into the laughter.

“Well he’s taking me out Friday night, but it’s not a date it’s just a friendly meal,” I said. Both of them laughed and gave me a hug as I rolled my eyes. “Congrats punk now you might finally be happy for once,” Stacy playfully said. I smiled and so did she. “Oh my god I can’t believe this mom look,” we all heard a little girl say. I turned to see an at least 10 or 11 year old girl pointing at all 3 of us. She was a mixed, but mostly Mexican, her hair was dark as night, she had on a pair of faded jeans, a shirt with Stacy, Miranda, and I on it, and her face and also her arms were fairly freckled. Her mom looked older than me, but her appearance in clothing was frankly younger. She wore a black satin tight dress that was only meant for parties at least, unlike her daughter hair; she was a brunette kind of like me, but her hair was a bit lighter, she was just as tan as her daughter and wore her hair in down in curls. “This little girl must really be a big fan of ours,” whispered Miranda to me as the little girl ran our way. I was happy that not many people when in the park, well not really was there, but just this little girl, us and her mom. A few people were jogging, but they didn’t really pay attention because we were on the far side. She finally reached us.

“OMG this must be heaven because I never thought I’d meet you guys,” she said. We all laughed, but that little girl was out of breath. “Mercedes honey don’t run away from mommy like that please,” said her mom. The little girl mimicked her mom and rolled her eyes. “Mom please your embarrassing me,” she said stumping her foot. Her mom laughed and looked up to see us 3 and she almost lost her breath. “This can’t be omega this isn’t real,” she said. This time the little girls face flushed and she turned blue. “This is totally not fair to me. Mom the word is OMG not omega. Where did you get that form?” she asked. Stacy, Miranda, and I laughed and the little girl mom shout us a glance. The mom frowned and crossed her arms as if she didn’t feel any embarrassment.

“Anyway you guys are amazing. I have all 4 of your albums and there all great. This is crazy because you guys rock and I’ve got a chance to meet you finally,” she said. We laughed once more. “Um who are you by the way?” asked Stacy a little rudely. The mom grunted, but the little girl smiled and told us her name. “I’m Mercedes,” she said. ‘Well hello Mercedes I’m Stacy,” Stacy replied. The little girls heart missed a beat and I could have sworn she was about to faint. “Of course you know who I am don’t you? The one and only Miranda,” Miranda threw in. Mercedes hugged her and after that she turned focus on me. I stood there dumbfounded. Mercedes put her hand on her hips and rolled her eyes. “Well everybody told me there name and I already know your of course, but it would be nice if you told me still,” Mercedes said. Everybody laughed except me and I wanted to slap that little girl. “Look here smarty-pants if you know my name then what’s the whole point of me saying it,” I said. Mercedes looked shocked. Before Mercedes could reply her mama jumped in.

“Don’t you talking to my daughter like that,” she said. Stacy and Miranda got together to defended me, but there was no use I backed down. “I’m sorry I just snapped,” I said. Mercedes shrugged her shoulders and hugged me, but her mama just stood there with her hands on her hips. “ARE WE GONE TAKE A PICTURE OR WHAT?” asked Mercedes. He mom hesitated a little, but she came threw. Lucky us Mercedes mom had a camera in her purse. We took about 5 good pictures and Mercedes asked for our autographs on her shirt. “This is going up on my wall,” she said cheerfully………..

Friday

Friday had finally come and I was ready for my date with Rundolf, I mean my get together. My clothing select was pretty good. I wanted to wear a dress, but something inside told me no. I didn’t want him to get the wrong idea that I wanted him to come on to me so I chose wisely. I picked my favorite shorts, a yellow decorated blouse; I placed a half jacket over, and finished the outfit off with a belt, and brown swayed Indian boots. I pinned my hair us because I felt ashamed being with a man who hair was as long as mine, it just wasn’t fair.

Rundolf picked me up at the park were we last spoked like I’d asked him to. We shared no words until we got to the restaurant. “This place has been here for years,” he said. I tried not to listen to him and walked into the restaurant as if I was alone. ‘ Do you have to be such a meanie?” he asked. I ignored him once more and asked the waiter for 2. “ Rundolf stood close me that I could feel his breath on my neck running threw my hair. I stepped up, but it was no use because it traveled still up my neck. I turned to him. “Could you please back the hell up?” I asked, but in a whispered. He put his hands up as if to surrender and backed up just a little.

“Ma’am your table is ready,” said the same waiter. I followed him to the table and almost dropped with disappointment. “Um can we have a talk by a window please? I hate looking at the walls,” I said. He smiled and headed somewhere else I followed with Rundolf behind me. Rundolf laughed, but I didn’t know why. He gave us a table and we sat. Now I was happy at least I felt I was. I opened the menu and couldn’t quite decide what I wanted. I hadn’t noticed at first, but Rundolf was staring me. Every aspect on my body that was showing he looked it over. “You look darn right gorgeous tonight,” he complemented. I forced a smile, but concentrated on trying to hide my blushing. “Well um I guess you don’t look bad,” I said. He laughed because he truly knew I was loving the way he wore that leather jacket over his tight biceps and triceps, The way his jeans stuck to his thighs going down his frame.

“Loosen up Casey; you’re the one who asked me out here. I could be at home chillening with my family,” he said. I darted my eyes at him as If he was a target. “You have a family?” I asked. The moment became awkward as he answered. “Well yeah don’t we all have parents, brother, and sisters?” he asked. My face sunk as I let out a oh which in my book was just a way of saying sorry. He laughed again and I churned. “Are you ready yet,” asked the waiter coming back to us. Rundolf shook his head, but I still hadn’t chose yet. I finally made my mined up. “I’ll have the chicken pasta with garlic bread please,” I said. This made Rundolf very nervous. “You can’t have the garlic bread Casey I’m allergic,” he said more like a demanded. I rolled my eyes and then stared at him. “I’ll be the one eating it,” I said. Rundolf frowned and told the waiter to let me have the garlic bread.

“You don’t have to be so picky,” he said as the waiter left off with our orders. I frowned at him. “Well you shouldn’t be allergic to the best bread out there,” I shot back. He leaned back in his chair and folded his arms. “Your one hell of a woman,” he said while looking out the window. I smiled this time letting it show. “And your one hell of man,” I said. We both laughed and for the first time I felt happy to be sitting here with him. Minutes later our meals were back. “Chicken pasta for you and salad for you,” said the waiter he left to me and Rundolf alone again. I said my prayer and dug into the pasta I didn’t know I was that hungry.

“Slow down over there,” Randolf laughed. I looked at him while slurping up one of the noodles. He laughed again. “I am not telling you how to eat that salad jerk,” I said wanting to laugh. Rundolf ignored me and ate a bite of his salad. I watch him because the way he ate was fascinating. He chewed with grace like no man and his Adam’s apple did a rhythmic beat as he swallowed. I waited till he finished. ‘You seem to know everything about me. Tell me about you?” I asked. He didn’t answer right away, but he did look a little nervous. He took another bite before answering me. “Do you really want to know about me?” he asked looking into my eyes.

I hesitated, but nodded my head yes. He smiled and the whole room lit up. “Well this is how it all began,” he started...........
