... ..... I hid behind a bush when the voices got louder. Then Merry and Lancelot....His Grace came into view. " Do you like Marissa?", said Merry. His Grace looked at her and smiled " Of course I do, Whats not to like about her?". Merry smiled back and said " There is nothing NOTHING about her that you cannot possibly like , shes smart, beautiful-" " I get the point Merry!", he said laughing.
"oh all right", she said chuckling. Just then as i backed away i stepped on a twig and it snapped. Merry gasped and looked around. His Grace shouted " WHOS THERE!". I ran as fast as i could back to the ball where Matt immediately spun me into his arms. " hello beautiful!", he said smiling. I laughed " Hayden!!!! You're so silly!". then i was put into another man's arms... .O_O It was Lancelot!!!!
He spun me around and said " Countess , Would you mind if i came to call on u? You know like for tea?". " Oh! I ... sure! Oh i mean y-yes of course, Your Grace, " I stammered. He smiled and said " Great" with that smooth as chocolate voice of his. I grinned and once again melted AND I MEAN LITERALLY THIS TIME! I fell in his arms but luckily he caught me with a look of concern - CONCERN!- on his face. " Are you alright Countess?", he said. When he suggested we go outside to the garden , i didnt want to sound too eager so i juss nodded and offered him my arm.
When we were in the rose section he picked one for me, kissed it and put it in my hair. " There now you are even more beautiful", he said softly. Then he did the craziest most wonderful thing! HE KISSED ME! I immediately kissed him back and we juss stood there kissing..........
