This is a porm I wrote and it's now published in a book. It's about (sorta) my ex-boyfriend. please tell me what you think ok? \

I gave you my heart

You promised to keep it safe

You held me close

Whispered sweet nothings in my ear

Then slowly

the nothings became somethings

In your grip

My heart broke in two

did you know how much i loved you?

Now that we've parted

I think it's only fair

i let you in on my deepest secret

No matter how hard I try

Or how tight I tie

my broken heart can never be whole again

All because of you

My love

my heart

my demise.

Um, are you sure this is now a published book? It's not that I don't think it good enough because it is, it's just it has a lot of inaccuracies for a published poem which has been edited over several times.

It's not in proper verses, it doesn't have proper punctuation placements, and more. It's really good for a TDP poem, just not a published book version.
