I screamed and Ron ran down half-awake. "What is it?" He asked his words slurring from tiredness. "My ring is gone!' I said.

I forced myself not to cry. "Who woud've done it?" Ron asked and he hugged me. "I don't know..." I said shaking my head. I opened my eyes and saw Harry run off with something silver in his hand. Ron didn't see as we were hugging and he was facing the other side. I broke away from Ron and ran after Harry. I tore all around the castle following him. I tackled him to the ground and saw the ring in his hand. "WHAT THE BLOODY HELL HARRY!" I screamed at him. "Ron betrayed me." He spat. "WHAT?!" I cried. "I was going to propose to you but HE stole my ring." He said angrily. I started crying "I can't.... I WON'T believe you!" I yelled. Ron came running down the stairs. "Harry!" He yelled. Harry rean over to him and tackled him to the ground and punched him in the face. "NO STOP!" I screamed. I tore Harry off and pinned him to the wall. "Don't TOUCH him." I said with traces of anger, sadness, hurt, and pain in my voice. Harry shook me off and ran away down the hall. I turned back to Ron and helped him up. "I'm so sorry." I told him and I wiped some bloody off his face. Ron shook his head as a sign of forgiveness. He kissed me and I put my ring back on. "Did you really steal it from Harry?" I asked quietly. "No Hermione." He said looking me dead in the eyes. "Ok." I said.
ONE MONTH LATER

"Ginny I feel so fat." I grumbled. "God Hermione you sound so superficial!" Ginny said. "Oh god I feel sick." I said. I riushed to the bathroom and threw up. I cleaned myself up and walked back out. "Tell me your not bulimic." Ginny said. I glared at her. "As if." I said. I sat back down. "OW!" I said and clutched my stomach. Ginny looked at me weird. "I'm going to bed." I said. "It's 4 in the afternnon!" Ginny said her eyes wide in shock." Well I'm TIRED." I snapped. I went to bed and slept until midnight. I woke up and found I coudn't go back to sleep. I went downstairs and Ron was asleep on his homework. I smiled. *aw how sweet he didn't want to wake me up so he did it himself* I walked over but then someone covered my mouth and grabbed me. He dragged me out on the grounds. He threw me to the ground and started kicking me in the stomach and hitting me. I tried to fight back but he was to strong. My wand was on my dresser up in the castle. After about 30 minutes of torture he left me to die on the grounds. I never saw who it was becuase they had covered there face.
I woke up in the hospital bed and Madame Pomfrey had closed the curtains. She came in with Professor McGonigal. "Hermione." Professor McGonigal said "We have to tell you something." She said gravely. "What?" I asked. "Well...."
